Dental Imaging Software

Dental imaging software allows us to simulate cosmetic and other procedures so you can see the effect on your smile before we start! We take digital pictures of your teeth and then use a computer simulation program to create the projected "after" images.

Soft Tissue Laser

Modern lasers are used to cosmetically to contour gums, lengthen crowns to provide ample structure for restoration, and to treat pockets of infection during gum treatment without surgery. They are virtually painless during the procedure and post-operatively.

Intra-Oral Camera

Our intraoral camera uses a tiny fiber-optic wand to easily take vivid photographs of the inside of your mouth. This allows us to let you see what we see: cracked teeth, broken fillings, plaque and even soft tissue lesions.

OralCDx

OralCDx represents a breakthrough in oral cancer detection which allows us to improve the prognosis of this disease. It is a computerized brush biopsy system that is quickly and painlessly performed on site to allow reliable detection of oral cancer in its earliest, most easily treated stages.

neks D-Carie mini™

The neks D-Carie is a high tech laser system that aids in early diagnosis of decay on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. It uses laser light of a defined wave length to help detect deminerlized enamel without x-rays.

DOPPLER

The TMJ Doppler™ is a system for listening to the sounds in the jaw joint. It is a rapid, painless and accurate method which aids in the detection, analysis and evaluation of TMJ dysfunction. In conjunction with models of your teeth and registering your bite, Dr. Helvey can determine the source of your TMJ discomfort.
